This policy explains what information Easydown processes when you use our public-link tools, account dashboard, API, and paid credit features.

1. Information We Process

  • Public links and request data: URLs submitted for parsing, timestamps, response status, and limited diagnostic information.
  • Technical logs: IP address, browser or client type, device information, and security events needed to operate and protect the service.
  • Account information: Email address, authentication identifiers, API keys in protected form, credit balance, and account activity when you create an API account.
  • Billing and subscription information: Stripe Customer, Checkout, Subscription, Invoice, payment status, plan, renewal/cancellation dates, credit grants, expiry and ledger references needed to deliver credits and handle support. Easydown does not store complete payment-card numbers.
  • Cookies: Essential cookies for authentication, security, and language preferences. Advertising or analytics providers may set their own cookies where enabled and legally permitted.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to parse requested public links, operate accounts and API access, deliver purchased credits, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Service Providers and Disclosure

Easydown does not sell personal information. We use service providers for hosting, content delivery, database and authentication services, payments, customer support, analytics, advertising, and security. They may process limited information only as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect Easydown, our users, or the public.

4. Third-Party Platforms

Submitted links and returned media belong to third-party platforms. Easydown does not control their privacy practices, terms, or content availability. Review the relevant platform's policies before using it.

5. Retention and Security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain financial and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Easydown does not offer permanent storage of parsed third-party media. We use reasonable access controls, encryption in transit, signed payment notifications, and restricted credentials, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of eligible personal information. Some billing, fraud-prevention, and security records may need to be retained. You can contact us to exercise a right or ask a privacy question.

7. Children and Policy Changes

Easydown is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change and will post the revised date on this page.
