EasyDown · Browser extension

Video downloads and comment export, in your browser

Use the EasyDown side panel to collect supported posts, review credit quotes, download media and export comments. Optional AI uses your own provider account.

API tasks require an EasyDown account, Token and available credits. Optional AI is billed by your provider.

Manual Chrome beta available; Chrome Web Store listing pending

Manual beta packages require Developer mode and do not update automatically. Use the Chrome Web Store version after it is approved.

Inside the extension

Verified screenshots of the side panel, media choice, quote, comment export and results will be added after acceptance. No simulated product images are shown.

From a page to a saved result

EasyDown puts video downloads and comment export in a browser side panel. Open a supported post, connect your EasyDown account, check the task quote and choose what to collect. Keep results in a local task center for later downloads, exports and optional analysis.

An EasyDown account and API Token are required for API tasks. Installing the extension does not include unlimited processing. Check available capabilities and credits after connecting; service and account restrictions still apply.

Chrome users can download the manual beta ZIP while the Chrome Web Store listing is pending. This is a tester-oriented installation path: unzip the package, open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode and load the unzipped folder. It will not update automatically.

Platforms and specific actions

This page describes the manual beta scope. Availability is controlled by your account's current capabilities. The internal verification date is September 9, 2026; complete store-release acceptance is still in progress. Do not interpret a platform name as support for every action or every media format.

PlatformActions in the release scopeLimitations and current acceptance
TikTokRecognize posts and profiles; collect media, public records and commentsA video sample was saved with audio; complete pagination, account and recovery acceptance pending.
DouyinRecognize posts and profiles; collect media and commentsA personal test account completed production parsing and an audible download. Ordinary and reviewer account acceptance pending.
InstagramRecognize posts, reels and profiles; export media and commentsOne image sample passed. Whole-carousel acceptance pending; comment replies are disabled.
X / TwitterRecognize posts and profiles; collect media and commentsBrowser download failure remains unresolved.
BilibiliRecognize videos, profiles and short links; comments, subtitles and mediaVideo-only sample passed. Real audio/video merge failed; UP statistics are disabled.

How the extension works

  1. Obtain an API Token from your EasyDown account.
  2. Enter it in extension settings and test the connection.
  3. Open a supported post or profile and review the recognized context.
  4. Choose the action, filters and pagination budget, then inspect the quote.
  5. Confirm the task and follow progress in the task center. Background work can continue within the confirmed limits.
  6. Review available media, then download or export selected results. Reopen saved results to reuse completed operations; new operations can incur new charges.

Comment export and optional AI

Use collection limits for maximum items, pages and credits. The returned sample depends on platform availability and upstream pagination; an export is not a promise to capture every comment. Instagram comment replies are not available in this release scope.

The workbench provides JSON, CSV, XLSX and HTML report/ZIP exports, plus a printable report for saving as PDF through the browser. Choose formats based on the records you collected. Review public author details before sharing exports.

Optional text analysis uses your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini account. The extension shows the provider and selected records before sending your prompt. Gemini video analysis uploads a video you choose, up to the current 200 MiB limit. Provider charges and data processing are separate from EasyDown credits. Cleanup attempts to delete the Google file; failure or interruption can leave it with the provider. AI is not required for downloading or exporting, and its output is an inference.

Permissions and privacy

Local storage keeps settings and credentials; current-tab access supplies page context; download permission saves files; alarms continue scheduled tasks; the side-panel permission displays the interface. Platform/API access serves page recognition and requested operations. Additional media or AI origins are requested when needed.

The extension can recognize the current page automatically. Sending a confirmed collection task to EasyDown is a separate action. Read the browser-extension privacy explanation, including local storage, third parties, AI uploads and deletion controls.

Installation, credits and AI fees

There is no separate extension installation fee planned. EasyDown API operations use credits according to the current quote, capability and account rules. A free installation does not mean free or unlimited collection. Your AI provider bills AI use separately. Check the pricing page and the quote before confirming; no fixed price is promised here.

Frequently asked questions

Which websites are supported?

The release scope covers TikTok, Douyin, Instagram, X/Twitter and Bilibili. Check the action table above and your account's capabilities. Website tools and extension capabilities are not identical.

Do I need an account?

Yes, an EasyDown account and Token are needed for API tasks. Your balance and capability access determine what operations you can run.

Why does it request permissions?

Permissions support the current page, local task results, background progress, downloads and the side panel. Optional domain access is used for the media or AI service you request.

How do I delete my data?

Signing out clears credentials and pauses data tasks. Clear local account data to remove local task results and temporary media. Delete downloaded files separately. Contact support for eligible server data requests; provider-held AI data has separate controls.

What if a download fails?

Check the task error, network, granted domain permissions and available disk space. Media links can expire or be restricted by the source. A parsed result is not proof of a completed download. Avoid repeating paid operations without checking saved results first.

Is AI required?

No. Text and video AI are optional and require your own provider credentials. You choose the records or video to send.

Can I install it from the Chrome Web Store now?

Not yet. The public listing has not been verified as available, so the store installation link remains closed. You can download the manual Chrome beta ZIP from this page and install it through Developer mode for testing. Do not use a developer-console URL as an installation link.
